I got this a few days ago when it was free and didn't get very far into reading it. The dialog isn't well written (just seems stilted) and the 100-year-old vampire behaves like an immature adolescent. Nathan is also too easy-going to for me in letting a stranger into his apartment and sucking either his neck or his wrist. As the vampire explains all the vampire rules, I just stopped reading. Please get the sample before buying to make sure you'd like it. It didn't seemed like the characters had any depth to them, so I wasn't willing to invest the time in continuing reading.Product details

I loved this book!!! The main characters are great. They are just awesome!! I loved how they just fit together. Nobu is not like any vampire I have read about. Hes funny, kind, gentle, and he pouts!!! Like all the time, its just adorable! What's not to like? I loved how he gets Nathan to come out of shell and gets him to live again. Against Nathan's better judgement I might add. Nathan was great also...he tries really hard to be a hard a** with Nobu, but Nobu is having none of that!! They are just great!!! Nathan tries, I mean really tries to not
let Nobu inside his heart...but well in doesn't work. Which is awesome!!! Even the secondary characters are really good. Keiji was funny and his interaction with Nobu is hilarious sometimes. Their relationship is like totally different from other sire/child relationship I have ever read. Its great!!! All in all this book was great....the interaction between the 2 main characters was great, the mystery of who Nathan really is just added to the feel of the book, and the sex was good. This was one of those great books that has more than just great sex( and no plot). It captures your attention from the beginning and doesn't let it go till the end. Thats not to say the ending wasn't great(cause it was), it was great the way the author leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for the sequel!!! I know I can't wait!!!!!!

Amazing story telling
Very sweet and interesting story. Really grabbed me and made me want to read it all in one sitting.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I started reading this book, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I'm ready to start on the next book.
This vampire wins my vote for one I'd most like to cuddle. The story could have been tighter but it was an enjoyable read, light hearted for the most part. I think there were emotions that should have seemed stronger but I prefer the light hearted version in my mind. What I didn't like is that it ended in a cliffhanger.
